About Fresh Recalls
Fresh Recalls makes U.S. safety recalls searchable by the thing you actually care about — a specific product model, a car, or a brand — and keeps the official government notice one click away from every result.
Who runs it
Fresh Recalls is an independent site maintained by the Fresh Recalls team. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency, manufacturer, or brand. Questions or corrections: hello@freshrecalls.com.
Where the data comes from
- CPSC — consumer product recalls, via the SaferProducts.gov recall API.
- NHTSA — vehicle recall campaigns, via the api.nhtsa.gov recalls API.
- FDA — food, drug, and medical-device enforcement reports, via the openFDA API.
All three are U.S. Government public-domain data. We mirror and reorganize them; we never replace the official notice, which remains authoritative. Every recall page links to its source and shows when we last checked it.
What we do not claim
A product not appearing here does not mean it is safe. Recall data can lag, our coverage window and sources are not exhaustive, and matching is imperfect. Always confirm with the official sources before relying on a result. Fresh Recalls is an information aggregator, not a safety authority.
How fresh is it
Our pipeline refreshes hourly. If any source stops updating for more than 48 hours, a notice appears site-wide until it clears. See our data & corrections policy for details.
