YunHeng Recalls LandTale Bed Rails Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Entrapment and Asphyxiation; Violate Mandatory Standard for Adult Portable Bed Rails
Notice last updated: October 1, 2026.
1. Compare your item
This notice names a product; your particular item is not yet verified. Compare every applicable model, serial, lot, production-date or model-year boundary below.
Agency product description and boundaries
This recall involves the LandTale-branded adult portable bed rails. The bed rails have a white frame with black foam rubber grips and measure about 18 inches wide by 42 inches high. "LandTale" and SKU "EBR001" are printed on the instruction manual and the product packaging.
Still to verify: match the label on your item with the full official notice, including any exclusions, tables and photos. Some identifiers appear only on the agency website and are absent from this data feed. A missing field does not mean all versions are affected.
If your lot or date falls outside a stated range, this notice has not established that your item is affected. This is not a finding about other recalls or product safety.
2. Agency hazard and consumer action
CPSC reports: The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails because users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. In addition, the bed rails do not bear the required hazard warning labels.
CPSC consumer action: Consumers should stop using the recalled adult portable bed rails immediately and contact YunHeng for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to destroy the bed rail by cutting off the handle's foam grip, disassembling the product and writing in permanent marker "RECALLED" on the upper and lower rails, and send a photo of the marked bed rails, showing the sender's name written on paper, to LandtaleBedRailsRecall@outlook.com. Consumers should then dispose of the destroyed product.
