Agency product description and boundaries
This recall involves PACEARTH U-type swing seats. The swing seats were sold in various colors including green, blue, pink, red and turquoise. The chain is coated in yellow plastic. Metal carabiners or quick links and yellow webbing straps were included with the swing seats to attach the swing to outdoor swing sets or tree branches. The swing seats were sold as a single unit or a pack of two.
Still to verify: match the label on your item with the full official notice, including any exclusions, tables and photos. Some identifiers appear only on the agency website and are absent from this data feed. A missing field does not mean all versions are affected.
If your lot or date falls outside a stated range, this notice has not established that your item is affected. This is not a finding about other recalls or product safety.
2. Agency hazard and consumer action
CPSC reports: The seats, metal carabiners or quick links, or webbing straps of the recalled swing seats can break during use, posing a risk of serious injury due to fall hazard.
CPSC consumer action: Consumers should stop using the recalled swing seats immediately and contact Pacearth Direct for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to write "RECALLED" on the swing seat with permanent marker, take a photo of it, including the PACEARTH logo and email to recall@pacearth.com.
