Notice last updated: October 22, 2026.
1. Compare your item
This notice names a product; your particular item is not yet verified. Compare every applicable model, serial, lot, production-date or model-year boundary below.
Agency product description and boundaries
This recall involves Costway high chairs designed to convert into a table and chair set. They were available in several color combinations, including purple and white, red and white, blue and white, and brown and white. There is no tracking information located on the products.
Still to verify: match the label on your item with the full official notice, including any exclusions, tables and photos. Some identifiers appear only on the agency website and are absent from this data feed. A missing field does not mean all versions are affected.
If your lot or date falls outside a stated range, this notice has not established that your item is affected. This is not a finding about other recalls or product safety.
2. Agency hazard and consumer action
CPSC reports: The convertible high chairs violate the mandatory safety standard for high chairs because they do not contain a passive restraint system and a child can slip through the opening between the feeding tray and seat and become entrapped or fall, posing a risk of serious injury or death.
CPSC consumer action: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled high chairs and contact Costway for a free replacement high chair. Consumers will be asked to provide a receipt or a photo of the product and will receive a prepaid label to return the recalled product to Costway. Upon receipt of the recalled product, Costway will ship a replacement high chair free of charge.
