Agency product description and boundaries
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar seat belt assemblies with part number 7SU27DX9AA, 7SU10DX9AA, 7SV41DX9AA, 7SV42DX9AA, 7ZK68DX9AA, 7ZK69DX9AA, 8AR89DX9AA, or 8BM60DX9AA. The rear outboard seat belts may become twisted and fail to retract properly.

2. Agency hazard and consumer action
NHTSA reports: A seat belt that does not retract properly may fail to restrain an occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury.
NHTSA consumer action: Dealers will replace or refund the retractors and pillar trim, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed October 2, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 88D.
