Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS transit buses. The telemetry control unit installed in parallel with the vehicle monitoring system may cause a data overload.

2. Agency hazard and consumer action

NHTSA reports: An overloaded control unit may shutdown, causing a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.

NHTSA consumer action: Nova Bus will modify the connection configuration, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova Bus' number for this recall is CR5882. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning June 29, 2026.
