Agency product description and boundaries

K.Z., Inc. (K.Z.) is recalling certain 2026 Durango recreational trailers equipped with certain Curt Touring Coil Suspensions. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.

Still to verify: match the label on your item with the full official notice, including any exclusions, tables and photos. Some identifiers appear only on the agency website and are absent from this data feed. A missing field does not mean all versions are affected.

If your lot or date falls outside a stated range, this notice has not established that your item is affected. This is not a finding about other recalls or product safety.

Vehicle-specific check required: use NHTSA’s official VIN lookup. Fresh Recalls has not checked a VIN or repair status and does not ask you to submit a VIN.

2. Agency hazard and consumer action

NHTSA reports: Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

NHTSA consumer action: K.Z. will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 10, 2026. Owners may contact K.Z. customer service at 1-800-768-4016 ext. 154 or 153. K.Z.'s number for this recall is KZ-2026-01.
