Coach And Equipment MFG Equipment Adaptive/Mobility recall (26V472000)

Hazard: A wheelchair lift that continues to move while occupied increases the risk of injury.

What to do: Dealers will correct the wiring by installing two diodes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2026. Owners may contact Coach and Equipment customer service at 1-800-724-8464.

Description

Coach and Equipment Mfg. Corp. (Coach and Equipment) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Phoenix, and 2025-2026 Metrolite transit buses, equipped with certain S-Series wheelchair platform lifts. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift.
