Rosenbauer America Equipment recall (26V504000)
Hazard: A loss of exterior lights can reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Inoperative equipment can delay emergency response, increasing the risk of injury.
What to do: Dealers will update the firmware and install a monitor system, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 12, 2026. Owners may contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000.

Description
Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Commander, 2026 Commercial M2-106, and Commercial HV507 emergency vehicles, equipped with certain Weldon UV800 Display Unit user interfaces. The display may stop responding to touch commands or fail to power on, preventing the activation of exterior emergency lights, fire fighting and other emergency equipment.
