Agency product description and boundaries
Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2025-2026 G5e transit buses. A wiring harness may have been incorrectly routed. A metal bracket may contact and damage the harness, causing a loss of drive power.
Still to verify: match the label on your item with the full official notice, including any exclusions, tables and photos. Some identifiers appear only on the agency website and are absent from this data feed. A missing field does not mean all versions are affected.
If your lot or date falls outside a stated range, this notice has not established that your item is affected. This is not a finding about other recalls or product safety.
Vehicle-specific check required: use NHTSA’s official VIN lookup. Fresh Recalls has not checked a VIN or repair status and does not ask you to submit a VIN.
2. Agency hazard and consumer action
NHTSA reports: A loss of driver power increases the risk of a crash.
NHTSA consumer action: Micro Bird will inspect, replace, and properly secure the wiring harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 10, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird's Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-122-HUC.
