Agency product description and boundaries
Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Lineage recreational vehicles equipped with the optional Lineage 43 tire package. The vehicle's top speed may exceed the tire's speed rating. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars."

2. Agency hazard and consumer action
NHTSA reports: A tire may fail while traveling at higher speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.
NHTSA consumer action: Dealers will install new corrected labels, and Grand Design will mail owners new corrected labels, free of charge.
