Mercedes-Benz is recalling certain 2027 CLA 220 vehicles. A component of the left front seat belt may have been installed incorrectly.

Still to verify: match the label on your item with the full official notice, including any exclusions, tables and photos. Some identifiers appear only on the agency website and are absent from this data feed. A missing field does not mean all versions are affected.

If your lot or date falls outside a stated range, this notice has not established that your item is affected. This is not a finding about other recalls or product safety.

Vehicle-specific check required: use NHTSA’s official VIN lookup. Fresh Recalls has not checked a VIN or repair status and does not ask you to submit a VIN.

2. Agency hazard and consumer action

NHTSA reports: A seat belt with an incorrectly installed component may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

NHTSA consumer action: Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 27, 2026. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
