American Battery Solutions Inc. (ABS) is recalling certain Proliance High Voltage Batteries with part number 20000114-AB. The high voltage battery contactor may fail to close, causing a loss of drive power.

2. Agency hazard and consumer action

NHTSA reports: A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
