Agency product description and boundaries
Ricon Corporation (Ricon) is recalling certain S-Series and K-Series wheelchair platform lifts. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift.

NHTSA reports: A wheelchair lift that continues to move while occupied increases the risk of injury.
NHTSA consumer action: Dealers will correct the wiring by installing two diodes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 29, 2026. Owners may contact Ricon customer service at 1-800-322-2884.
