Agency product description and boundaries
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain MOPAR headlights with part numbers 68530384AD, 68530384AE, 68530385AD, and 68530385AE. The headlight wiring may cause the parking lights and daytime running lights to flicker on and off, or fail. As such, this equipment fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Still to verify: match the label on your item with the full official notice, including any exclusions, tables and photos. Some identifiers appear only on the agency website and are absent from this data feed. A missing field does not mean all versions are affected.
If your lot or date falls outside a stated range, this notice has not established that your item is affected. This is not a finding about other recalls or product safety.
2. Agency hazard and consumer action
NHTSA reports: Parking lights and daytime running lights that fail to illuminate properly reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
NHTSA consumer action: Dealers will inspect and replace the headlight assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Dealers will repurchase uninstalled headlight assemblies. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed July, 30, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, expected October 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 63D.
