This notice names a product; your particular item is not yet verified. Compare every applicable model, serial, lot, production-date or model-year boundary below.
Agency product description and boundaries
Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Commander and 2024 Warrior fire engines. The rim weld may crack, causing the wheel to separate and tire to deflate.
Still to verify: match the label on your item with the full official notice, including any exclusions, tables and photos. Some identifiers appear only on the agency website and are absent from this data feed. A missing field does not mean all versions are affected.
If your lot or date falls outside a stated range, this notice has not established that your item is affected. This is not a finding about other recalls or product safety.
Vehicle-specific check required: use NHTSA’s official VIN lookup. Fresh Recalls has not checked a VIN or repair status and does not ask you to submit a VIN.
2. Agency hazard and consumer action
NHTSA flags this campaign “Do not drive.”
NHTSA reports: Wheel and/or tire failure increases the risk of a crash.
NHTSA consumer action: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will replace the wheels and tires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 19, 2026. Owners may contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000.
