Agency product description and boundaries
Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Digger Derrick vehicles. The front winch bumper may be secured with incorrect bolts, which can cause the bumper to detach from the vehicle.

2. Agency hazard and consumer action
NHTSA reports: A front bumper that detaches can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. In addition, the bolts can fail suddenly during winch operation, increasing the risk of injury.
NHTSA consumer action: Altec will install the correct bolts on the front bumper, free of charge. Owner notification letters will be mailed December 4, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3375.
