Agency product description and boundaries
Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and AC Series Crane vehicles. These vehicles may have been manufactured without a rearview camera installed.

2. Agency hazard and consumer action
NHTSA reports: A missing rearview camera can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
NHTSA consumer action: Altec will install a camera or provide a camera kit to owners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters will be mailed December 4, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3376.
